Fix my eyes on God

Someone died around midnight last night. I didn't know him. But I know his wife. She is a lovely, dear, sweet, joy-filled woman. My heart is breaking for her tonight.

I don't understand why this family had to suffer these long lonely months during the last year, but I believe this man is with Jesus now, so hopefully that can provide some much-needed comfort.

Psalm 42:9-11

Sometimes I ask God, my rock-solid God,
"Why did you let me down?
Why am I walking around in tears,
harassed by enemies?"
They're out for the kill, these
tormentors with their obscenities,
Taunting day after day,
"Where is this God of yours?"

Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul?
Why are you crying the blues?
Fix my eyes on God—
soon I'll be praising again.
He puts a smile on my face.
He's my God.

Hi Cheryl,
I thought the photo went extremely well with your words. The sun is still shining ever bright even as the rain falls. What a message of hope in God. Where did you find it..or did you create that photo? Amazing!
