Overflow

The answer to my last post is unfortunately no. It has been VERY cold and windy here the past few days!



So our pastor did a little object lesson at the beginning of his talk yesterday. He took his glass of water and pretended to spill a little on the floor. His question was: "Why is there water on the floor?"

Some answers from the congregation were:
- because you spilled it
- gravity
- because you were clumsy
- because it's not in the glass

The last answer was the closest. The answer he gave was that there was water on the floor because that's what was in the glass.

When someone jostles you, what comes out? Whatever it is, it's a reflection of what's inside.

For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.
