I just watched a show called "You Had to be There" on the WE channel, and it was an episode about the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana. It was 1981, so I would have been in fourth grade, I think. I did not get up early to watch it like so many others did. So I'm glad I got to see this little recap.
Look at that dress. Can you imagine walking around with that train, the weight of it? Crazy.
It was a little sad watching how happy the bride was on that day, knowing now what we know now...about her life...her death.
But it was nice to see the whole country come together to celebrate.
